Three angles do the work. Camber is the wheel's tilt seen from the front. Caster is the steering axis angle that affects straight-line stability and how the wheel returns after a turn. Toe is whether the wheels point slightly in or out when viewed from above. Toe is the angle most often out of spec, and a common cause of uneven wear.

f the car pulls to one side, the steering wheel sits off-centre, or a tire is wearing faster on one edge, an alignment check is worth it. Vibration through the wheel and a recent pothole, curb hit or suspension repair are other good reasons. Uneven wear usually means tire replacement sooner, so catching it early saves money.

What Happens During an Alignment Service
We start with tire pressures and a look at your steering and suspension components, because worn parts won't hold an alignment. Then we take readings and adjust to your vehicle's specification, and finish by re-measuring so you can see the before and after. If something needs replacing first, we tell you before we go further.

When to Have It Checked
Follow your manufacturer's interval, and come in sooner after a hard hit or any suspension or steering work. If you're unsure, an inspection settles it.
